How Guardian Works:
Event Detected
Sophisticated algorithms analyze a driver’s facial and eye movements, including head position, eye gaze, and eye closure, to detect signs of fatigue and distraction.
Action Initiated
If necessary, the system initiates fatigue intervention. Fleet management can then take immediate action to mitigate the risk, such as scheduling a break or ending a shift.
Alerts Activated
If a risky driving event is detected, the in-vehicle system immediately triggers a combination of audio, visual, and vibration alerts to alert the driver.
Education
Data on fatigue and distraction events is captured and stored in the Guardian Live online platform. This data can be accessed and analyzed to inform behavior modification and process improvements.
Event Analyzed
Data and footage of detected events are securely transmitted to the 24/7 Guardian Center for review and classification.
Seeing Machines team of highly trained analysts works around the clock to review and classify every risky driving incident. Within minutes of a confirmed fatigue event, fleet managers are notified so they can take immediate action to protect drivers when it matters most.
