FLIR Si1-LD:
The FLIR Si1-LD is a user-friendly acoustic imaging device designed for pinpointing and measuring pressurized leaks in compressed air systems. This portable, handheld camera assists maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams in identifying air leaks more quickly than conventional techniques. Utilizing a precisely engineered array of MEMS microphones for enhanced sensitivity, the Si1-LD generates a clear sound image that visually represents ultrasonic data, even in noisy factory settings. This sound visualization is overlaid in real time on a visual image, enabling accurate identification of the leak source, along with built-in analysis that estimates the associated losses. The Si1-LD offers a software extension for importing sound images into the FLIR Thermal Studio suite for later editing, analysis, and creation of detailed reports. On-site analysis and reporting are also possible through the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer online platform. Image transfer can be done via USB drive or cable. Consistent use of the FLIR Si1-LD can aid facilities in lessening their environmental footprint and lowering energy costs.
